How to Add Captions to YouTube Videos

Youtube likes videos to have captions, because it makes them more accessible. I have also heard that there is some SEO valus because the captions tell Google what the video is about. I have been uploading video clips to Youtube for the Copywriting and Marketing Hotseats, and wanted to figure out the best (read: easiest) way to do add captions. I ended up using a simple text file of the transcription. I created the transcription to use as the description of the video, so I just had to upload it and it came out ok without any editing at all.
