In order to sell, your headline has to grab the attention of your visitor. Jon Correll discloses 5 styles that you can adapt to your own situation.
Jon’s comments:
So here’s some five headline styles that, that work like magic. And again, I’m going to flip through these fast. So fear, we talked about that. I think Harlan was even talking about fear is very powerful, right? If you were good about to get in your car and somebody said, Hey, I saw somebody throw a rattlesnake into your car.
You’re calling the police. You’re calling the tow truck. You’re not going to get in the car. You are going to have a visceral reaction to that. Fear is very powerful. You have to be careful. On how you use it. I think the finance market. It is one of the best ones. Like financial when they’re saying how to, build gold, your gold stocks, because the end of the world is coming and it’s the only way you’re going to survive.
And, 10 million is going to be worth a penny in 10 years. They create this fear and then they supply. And it’s very powerful to do that. Giving a shortcut. It’s the simple one. Discover how you can speak any language. Boring. Yeah. Sure. But in just ten short days, there’s actually a time frame.
It makes me feel like I’ve got to at least look at this. Because that really hits me that I’ve got a specificity, right? And I can get in there and do something now and find out. And boy, that’s actually a time frame I can work with. I don’t want to spend two years at a language school. The other thing is, shocking discovery for joint relief.
These things are really actually still, I mean they’re everywhere. They still work. That one weird trick to lose belly fat. You’ve probably seen that a billion times. It still works. People want to know the trick. What little thing they can do to magically lose weight. The breakthrough treatment to, Halt thinning hair, right?

We missed a slide somewhere in there. There was five, now there’s four. The second one was actually audacity. Stand up and say something that is compelling and outrageous and even controversial. That was the second one slide in there. This one is also dynamic. If you read those things, it says, now you get to have this option in San Diego, or I think John even talked about this morning, if you’re doing golf and it says, welcome bowlers, how to increase your golf game.
Those things are actually dynamic. In our page, for instance, if you’re in New York and it’s 10 o’clock in the morning, it’s different than the guy that’s at 7 a. m. on our page in San Diego. And we have dynamically changing headlines and a view of the site. And it actually helps to, when people come back again, it’s different.
And so it actually helps engagement. And so if you need more ideas. How many of you don’t have the simple writing system? Okay, so I don’t get paid for this, but I think that is something I bought. I’ve been doing this for many years. I would consider myself, and I consider myself an expert at many things, but I’m decently good at copywriting and things.
