John Carlton’s Marketing Hotseat is for Greig, a corporate recruiter who is selling a product that shows people how to find jobs for their friends.
You don’t have to get really super involved with this you can…have the whole thing set up. You can create your product from talking to one person, record it, transcribe it so you have something down that you’re not embarrassed about, that delivers a lot of great content. Then, the backend is your participation in this. The handholding element. I am assuming that there are recruiters out there that are up to their ankles in this, and to make any money they have to get waist deep. You’re the guy that can help them wade out to waist deep, where they really didn’t want to go. You just become that guy.
That’s what you look at…what are the easy pickings? If you know how to do something better than the others in the same ocean you’re fishing in, you can easily become the go to guy. It’s just a matter of marketing. Unfortunately, you don’t even need to know how to do it better, if you’re a better marketer. You have to be that guy I need you to be for me to be able to pull out my wallet and spend money.
So, what you need to do? Is it some easy way to find people? Have they already raised their hands on a list nationally? Or would he have to get involved in some kind of jet Stream online in order to bring the people in.
