MRIC Member Hot Seat: Moving His Business to the Next Level

On the hot seat this month is MRIC member Mukesh. He has difficulty speaking as a result of surgery he had about 15 years ago, but that hasn’t stopped him.

His personal story is quite compelling. He had surgery for cancer and as a result has a hard time speaking. He came to the US from India in 2005 at age 55, excited to get started in a new career.

However, he had problems getting a job. He sent out over 100 resumes before getting hired. During that time he learned what works and (especially) what doesn’t, and started a business helping others write their resumes.

He has had some success, but wants to do better.

John and Stan review what he is doing and what is working for him now and give him some “next steps” to building on his current successes.
